I think this gives a very comprehensible description of this problem, which doesn't get enough awareness in the mainstream community. It also speaks to how when we label someone as "sick", we take away legitimacy to anything they say and so we claim more power, we can keep them locked away for longer. (I noticed the discussions of same-sex marriage and DADT, but I still think it's okay to support same-sex marriage and to change one's profile pic)
